History of The Lawrence Hall of Science
The Lawrence Hall of Science is a public science center whose goal is to cultivate, stimulate, and ignite learning and curiosity of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics(STEM) for people of all ages. The center was established in 1968 in honor of Ernest O. Lawrence. Lawrence was a professor and inventor who was also CAL’s first Nobel Prize winner.
The Lawrence Hall of Science strongly believes hands-on activities that incorporate ideas of science math are the key to developing children’s interest and motivation for learning, understanding, and applying the elements of STEM.
